The cookbook by Logivity, offering a fresh take on efficient and sustainable transport

At first glance, a cookbook might seem like an unusual giveaway from a digital logistics platform. But for us at Logivity, it made perfect sense.

We’re a Sweden-based, internationally minded company with a bold ambition: to make every transport sustainable. Meaning smarter, cost-efficient and greener. And we know real transformation doesn’t happen through technology alone. It takes collaboration, creativity, and trust. Much like a memorable dinner.

Titled Recipes for a Greener Planet, the A5-format booklet features seasonal recipes from across Europe — each one selected not just for its flavor, but for how it reflects resourcefulness, regionality, and smart choices.

“Sustainability in logistics isn’t about adding more complexity — it’s about simplifying,” says Jessica Öhrblad, CEO of Logivity.
“A good meal, like good logistics, is about smart choices, collaboration, and making the most of what’s already available. This cookbook captures that philosophy is a small but meaningful symbol of that philosophy.“

A Garden. A New Role. A Fresh Idea.

Logivity’s platform connects transport buyers, shippers, and carriers to collaborate more effectively — reducing costs, optimizing capacity, cutting emissions, and making logistics both leaner and greener.

The idea for the cookbook was seeded — quite literally — in a garden.

“A few years ago, my family and I moved into a house with a garden,” says Sofia Wessman, Head of Tech & Innovation at Logivity and the brain behind the concept.
“I started growing herbs, then passion fruit, grapes and vegetables. What I grew felt like art… just like transport is the artery of modern society, moving people and goods 24/7.”

And, around the same time she joined Logivity, the seeds of the idea began to grow: just like a good meal depends on combining ingredients with care, efficient transport relies on timing, flow, and resourcefulness.

“If we make the transport industry more cost-efficient, using available resources in smarter ways, we make the world greener. Simple as that,” she adds and continues:
“The cookbook was born from those two parts of my life — cooking and sustainability.”

A Message Worth Sharing

Given as a gift to customers and partners, the cookbook includes curated recipes as well as space to add your own — reinforcing the idea that transformation happens when people share knowledge, participate, and co-create.

“Just like a dinner party flourishes through collaboration between flavorful ingredients and thoughtful guests,” the introduction reads, “we simply do better, together.”

While Logivity isn’t in the food business, the cookbook is part of a broader effort to communicate our mission with clarity, creativity, and purpose.

“We believe in smart, scalable solutions,” concludes Jessica.
“And sometimes the best way to talk about sustainable transformation — with cost-saving potential — is with something unexpected, relatable, and real.”
